Dangerous is a one-woman show that responds to a rise in alt-right misogyny and flips gender myths and assumptions to interrogate how they are vehicles for power. It was first developed as part of IdeasLAB at Theatre Royal Plymouth in February 2017.
VISA: “Plymouth, I am coming for you.”
Welcome to the latest leg of the Dangerous C**t Tour! Visa Yanker – Internet 10’s greatest and most fabulous supervillain – lands in Plymouth on her international campus tour.
Visa’s controversial views have triggered the left and got up the nose of social justice warriors and mens’ rights activists the world over, which is exactly why we’ve invited her here for this special event!
Tonight we gather to celebrate a new-wave, anti-establishment pop star of the alt-right, whose courage to speak out against maculinism’s perchant for teaching girls that their femininity is evil has emboldened a generation.
Need any more proof how powerful her Word is? Take a look at the publishing companies, media outlets and political parties delivering wheelbarrows of money to her door daily.
VIVA VISA! We are ready for you.
IdeasLAB is Theatre Royal Plymouth’s platform for the sharing and development of new work, taking place once per season.
As part of IdeasLAB, artists are offered space at the theatre to develop their idea, as well as dramaturgical feedback and any other support they might need. After the performance evening, there is the opportunity to receive feedback on the work.
