The Future Has Been In Touch is an immersive performance experience that emerged from a South West Creative Technology Network research fellowship exploring intimacy in immersive experiences. My key research question was: How can intimate immersive experiences free people from self-conscious everyday identities to discover other parts of themselves, activating personal and political agency and creating connection and empathy?
